To help companies and individuals figure stuff out in a simple and straight-forward way. Then, with that new-found knowledge, give them the tools they need to convince others to join their journey.
What’s been done
Working directly with a Senior Vice President of one of the world’s largest white goods manufacturers, we developed workshops to train top executives in communication and leadership skills. Later, workshops were added to define vision and promote unity within the group.
An internal advancement program was initiated within a large pan-European corporation to train future leaders in communication and leadership. We were asked to oversee and interact with all participants, providing them with coaching and performance feedback. Group projects developed within the program were presented to the board of directors and resulted in broad, systemic changes within the organization.
In preparation for the restructuring of a large European information provider, we acted as a sounding board to the CEO and gave consultation regarding the alignment of core values with daily management practices. Further, together with the communication and human resources officers, we crafted presentations for leadership to promote a new emphasis and mindset among division presidents. We then trained the C-suite leaders and the new initiatives were launched at a 2-day event for 300 members of top management.
The resurrection of Sweden’s oldest watch company required bringing the traditions and craftsmanship of the old world into the 21st century. Working directly with the CEO, we were involved not only with the formulation of messaging, but also in the design work surrounding the packaging as well as facilitating the media launch at a press conference attended by the world press in Basel, Switzerland.
In conjunction with the introduction of a new facility, Northern Europe’s largest real-estate management and investment company held a stakeholder event. In addition to our role as facilitator, we prepared marketing messages to be used at the event and in other corporate communication media.
An international manufacturing group brought together top management from their bus, truck, car, heavy equipment, and technology divisions to participate in a 2-day event focusing on the implementation of lean manufacturing throughout the group. In addition to facilitating the event, we assisted and trained all 15 presenters in the preparation and delivery of their material.
Working with the C-suite of a large multinational, we helped develop their message and its delivery via a webcast hosted by key members of the executive team. We then coached each participant in refining their presentation skills. The result was an overwhelming increase in leadership trust throughout the organization.
Monte has had the honor of being guest lecturer at Gonzaga University (USA), KTH (Sweden), Linköping University (Sweden) and numerous consultancy situations on topics concerning leadership, communication, and rhetoric.
